1. Interview with Vance Joy
In my time with the publication company, I conducted an interview with Vance Joy, to promote St Jerome's 'Laneway Festival', an event that takes place annually in Singapore. Prior to the interview, research was gathered to ensure that the questions and potential answers would entice the readers. This is done by asking questions that had never been asked previously by other interviewers. Additionally, I also made sure to link back to the event that is being promoted. 2. Writing an event's spread: "What's On: Jan/Feb entertainment roundup"
A journalism-based assignment to create a 'synopsis' for several events that were to take place in January/February 2013. It was imperative for these synopses to be concise yet inviting as we were battling with a strict page limit. Click here for an online version.
3. Graphic Designing
Aside from journalism work, I also contributed in their design department. I created a visual representation of a certain article on properties in Singapore. This was completed on Adobe Illustrator. I consulted with my supervisor to create a design that would best capture the article. In this ordeal, I thoroughly looked into how to create an eye-catching graphic and made sure that the design stayed relevant to the article.

I produced a promotional/explainer 2D animation for Growy, a product they are launching. In the process, I liaised with the team that put together the product and ensure that all the features of Growy are being conveyed.
